...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH
MONDAY EVENING ABOVE 5000 FEET...
* WHAT...Heavy snow possible above 5000 feet. Total snow
accumulations between 4 and 8 inches will be possible, with
locally higher amounts between 12 and 16 inches near the Sunrise
Ski Resort in the White Mountains. Winds could gust as high as
45 mph.
* WHERE...Areas above 5000 feet near Alpine, Pinetop-Lakeside,
Show Low, and Whiteriver.
* WHEN...From late Sunday night through Monday evening.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
could impact the morning or evening commute.
Snow forecast from 5 AM Monday to 11 PM Monday:
Alpine  3 to 5  inches  Pinetop-Lkside  4 to 8  inches
Show Low  4 to 6  inches      Whiteriver  3 to 5  inches.

MONDAY EVENING ABOVE 5000 FEET...
* WHAT...Heavy snow possible above 5000 feet. Total snow
accumulations between 3 and 5 inches possible, with localized
higher amounts between 8 and 12 inches at the crest of the
Mogollon Rim along the northern Gila County border. Winds could
gust as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...Areas above 5000 feet near Forest Lakes, Heber-
Overgaard, Payson, Pine, and Strawberry.
* WHEN...From Sunday night through Monday evening.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow
could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Monday morning commute.

Forest Lakes  6 to 10 inches Heber-Overgaard  3 to 5  inches
